The Role

Step into a fast-paced, high-stakes Public Sector (PubSec) environment to drive intelligence system operations for a major financial regulatory body. As a Product Support Engineer, you will hit the ground running to ensure critical intelligence flows securely across internal teams and external government partners to combat economic crime. This is a highly visible engagement suited for a proactive go-getter ready to deliver immediate results alongside elite global consultancy partners.

Rate/Salary: £370 per day (Inside IR35) or £68,500 fixed-term pro-rata (Choose Day Rate or Fixed-Term options)

Contract Length: 6-months with performance-based extension

Location / Work Type: Hybrid (3-days per week London/Stratford office)

Clearance: Minimum requirement is Security Clearance NPPV3 Eligibility, however current and transferable SC clearance is ideal.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a system administrator for critical intelligence platforms, managing daily upgrades, monitoring, and executing user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features.
  • Implement rigorous access controls and governance, managing user permissions while ensuring strict audit and security compliance.
  • Collaborate extensively with internal regulatory teams, external law enforcement partners, and third-party offshore suppliers to guarantee seamless service delivery.
  • Drive continuous process improvement by identifying system enhancements and defining technical requirements for broader project rollouts and transitions.

What You Bring

  • Solid experience delivering technical support within major financial services or government IT environments, thriving within fast-paced GSI or PubSec delivery frameworks.
  • Deep operational expertise underpinned by ITIL v4, SIAM frameworks, and ServiceNow (SNOW), alongside mandatory and active NPPV3 clearance.
  • Exceptional ability to manage risks, handle highly sensitive intelligence data, and negotiate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Readiness to operate on a rapid-deployment day-rate or fixed-term contract basis.
