We're looking for a Technical Product Lead to join our Data & Analytics team and play a pivotal role in shaping and evolving the data products that support teams across the business.

Salary: £55k-£60k depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:
As a Technical Product Lead, you'll support the development and operation of data products that enable teams across Whitbread to make data-driven decisions that improve efficiency, compliance, and performance. Working closely with senior stakeholders, Heads of Department, and delivery teams, you'll help define data strategies, identify opportunities for improvement, and build product roadmaps that align with both business and data priorities.
- Drive the adoption and effectiveness of data products by ensuring they continue to evolve in line with stakeholder needs, while identifying opportunities to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Data & Analytics, including Data Science, Engineering, and BI teams, championing best practice, and helping maximize value from shared tools such as Power BI and Databricks.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and support to engineers and developers where required, helping build capability across the wider team.

What you’ll need:
- Strong project management and programme management prioritization capabilities.
- Experience coordinating and delivering technical projects/programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to develop business cases, identify opportunities, and translate complex concepts into compelling data-driven recommendations.
- Experience managing backlogs and delivering priorities through agile ways of working.
- Experience designing and operating impactful data products.
