Elite is partnering with a well-loved high-street fashion accessories brand to find a Product Technologist to join their team!
What you'll do:
- Partner with Buying and Design teams to support product strategy and sustainability targets
- Manage products from prototype through to production sign-off, including critical path management and adherence
- Conduct risk assessments during initial development to ensure products are feasible, safe and legally compliant
- Work with suppliers on cost-effective, quality production methods
- Oversee product testing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Liaise with overseas QA teams, leveraging their knowledge of suppliers to understand supply base capabilities
- Review returns data and customer feedback to drive product improvements
- Liaise with the Distribution Centre Quality Control team on inspection queries, following up with Buying teams and suppliers as required
- Carry out regular store visits to review product ranges and gather feedback
- Track upcoming legislation and keep Buying, Design and suppliers informed in a timely manner
- Manage due diligence testing programmes for relevant categories
- Some overseas travel may be required

What you'll need:
- Proven experience as a Product Technologist or in a similar technical role
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a quality/technical role
- Knowledge of construction techniques and quality/safety standards for relevant product categories
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify, investigate and resolve quality issues
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of industry regulations, certifications and sustainability practices
- An interest in developing knowledge across other product categories to provide support and cover when required
- Collaborative, enthusiastic approach as part of a high-performing team
