About The Role

Are you a technical expert with a passion for quality? At Nutmeg, we don’t just make clothes; we create affordable, high quality fashion that our customers trust. As a Nutmeg Technologist, you’ll be the gatekeeper of our quality standards, ensuring every garment is safe, legal, and perfectly fit for purpose.

You won't just be ticking boxes. You’ll be a strategic partner, working alongside Buying, Design, and Merchandising to deliver commercially winning ranges that hit our sales and margin targets while exceeding customer expectations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting our technical strategy delivering Nutmeg’s brand values and quality credentials.
  • Build strong ties with Design and Buying to develop our unique "brand handwriting" while maintaining 100% technical compliance.
  • Setting technical standards with our strategic partners in everything from garment fit and grade rules, to Risk assessment and product testing.
  • Manage a timely garment approval process and keep our critical path on track.
  • Work with our third party providers on pre-shipment and intake inspections.
  • Listen and respond to customer queries.
  • Stay ahead of the curve. You’ll regularly visit stores and track competitors to ensure our quality is in line with the market.
  • Support the Technical Audit process, ensuring our factory partners meet our rigorous standards.
  • Cultivate productive, positive relationships with global suppliers.
  • Help to foster an environment where sharing ideas and solving problems is the norm.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
