Product Technology Specialist
Field-Based | UK Territory | Full-Time

As a UK Technology Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our UK Sales team to drive technology adoption, enhance customer experiences, and provide exceptional clinical support in operating theatres across your dedicated territory.
This is an exciting opportunity for a clinically focused professional with theatre experience who enjoys building relationships, delivering training, and making a real impact on patient care through cutting-edge medical technology.
The Role
Working alongside the UK Sales team, you will be responsible for expanding technology and implant sales by delivering first-class clinical support, expert product knowledge, and outstanding customer service to both new and existing customers.
As a trusted subject matter expert, you will support surgeons, theatre teams, and hospital stakeholders while helping to drive the successful adoption of Corin's innovative technologies.
What you’ll do
Clinical & Technology Expertise
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Corin products, technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Act as a trusted advisor to surgeons, theatre staff, and hospital stakeholders.
- Support the implementation and growth of Corin technologies, including OPS™, Apollo™, RPM™, and other future innovations.
- Drive awareness and adoption of new technologies and clinical initiatives.
- Build strong, credible relationships with hospital management, theatre managers, scrub teams, and clinical personnel.
- Stay informed on relevant clinical, legal, and industry developments that may impact the business.
Theatre Support
- Provide expert support during surgical procedures, assisting surgeons and theatre teams with product and technology-related queries.
- Organise and attend surgeon meetings to support business growth and customer engagement.
- Collaborate across territories to provide case support when required.
- Ensure compliance with local hospital procedures and protocols.
- Support theatre managers with instrument logistics and issue resolution.

Inventory & Operational Management
- Audit loan kit and instrument inventory to ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standard.
- Monitor implant stock levels to ensure availability aligns with customer demand.
- Identify opportunities to improve communication and operational processes between the field and Corin headquarters.
- Assist with the setup and onboarding of new technology accounts.
Training & Business Development
- Partner with Sales Executives and Agents to support growth within targeted accounts.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training plans for surgeons, registrars, radiographers, theatre staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Facilitate workshops and educational sessions on Corin products and technologies.
- Support Clinical Education Meetings (CMEs), congresses, and industry events.
- Support onboarding and ongoing development of new Corin employees through product and technology training.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a motivated, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and enjoys working independently while contributing to a wider team.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Degree (or equivalent) in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within healthcare, the NHS, the medical device industry, clinical environments, sports therapy, or physiotherapy.
- Extensive operating theatre experience.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results driven.
- Ability to work autonomously within a field-based role.

Desirable
- Previous sales or account management experience within orthopaedics.
- Experience supporting surgical technologies and navigation systems.
- Knowledge of joint reconstruction and orthopaedic procedures.

- Competitive Salary £40,000-45,000 dependant on experience with bonus of 7.5%
