About the opportunity
We are developing an early-stage career technology platform designed to help students and graduates make more strategic job applications.
Today, candidates often decide whether to apply for a role based mainly on a job description and their existing CV. However, a CV may contain only a small part of someone's actual experience, projects, skills, and achievements.
We are exploring a different approach: building a deeper understanding of a candidate's real experience first, then using that information to help identify which opportunities may be worth prioritizing and to create stronger, evidence-based applications.
We are looking for a small group of students and recent graduates who are currently applying for jobs in the UK to help us research and test the concept.
What you'll take part in
As a volunteer product-testing participant, you may:
- Take part in an initial conversation about your current job search and application process;
- Help us understand your previous experience, projects, skills, and achievements;
- Test an early version of our Career Evidence and job-matching process;
- Submit real vacancies you are considering so we can test our job-fit and prioritization approach;
- Review tailored CVs, supporting statements, or application materials generated using your own verified experience;
- Give honest feedback on what is useful, confusing, or could be improved;
- Optionally share the outcomes of applications, such as assessment or interview invitations, to help us understand whether the approach is working.

This opportunity may be particularly relevant if you are:
- Currently studying at university;
- A recent graduate;
- An early-career professional;
- Actively applying or preparing to apply for jobs in the UK;
- Willing to discuss your current application process and provide honest product feedback.

We welcome participants from different academic subjects, universities, backgrounds, and career interests.
Time commitment
Participation is flexible.
There are no fixed working hours or minimum weekly contribution requirements. The initial research conversation is expected to be followed by optional product testing while you continue your own job search.
You may stop participating at any time.
Important information
This is a voluntary, unpaid product-research, and testing opportunity and is not paid employment or an internship.
Participants will not be required to undertake sales, marketing, or other operational work for the business.
Information provided as part of the programme will be used for the purposes explained to participants, including conducting the research, providing the test service, and improving the product. Further information about how personal data is handled will be provided before participation begins.
