About the Opportunity
micro1 is engaging UX/UI Designers to participate in a dynamic project focused on video annotation for advanced robotic arm tasks.
In this role, you'll apply your domain expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world input. You'll review and annotate videos of robotic arms completing various procedures, ensuring each session is accurately evaluated according to established project guidelines.
No prior AI experience is required — your professional expertise, attention to detail, and ability to evaluate visual content are what matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Review video footage of robotic arms completing specific tasks and annotate sessions according to project instructions.
- Apply accurate tags, labels, and grading based on established guidelines and requirements.
- Use video annotation tools to identify and mark key actions, behaviors, and outcomes.
- Document observations and annotation rationales clearly and concisely.
- Collaborate with project trainers and fellow contributors to maintain consistency and quality.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve labeling guidelines and annotation workflows as the project evolves.
- Organize and submit completed annotations within required project deadlines.
- Maintain consistently high standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise, high-quality work.
- Strong written communication skills for documenting observations and rationales.
- Ability to follow detailed annotation and grading guidelines consistently.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in remote, collaborative environments.
- Familiarity with digital content review or video annotation workflows is beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in UX/UI design, web design, video or music editing, photography, filmmaking, or audiovisual production.
- Experience or educational background in robotics, mechanical engineering, or electronics.
- Previous experience with video annotation or data labeling, particularly for AI or machine learning projects.
- Familiarity with video annotation tools and digital content review platforms.
- Experience working on collaborative projects with remote teams.
- Strong interest in robotics, advanced technologies, or AI-driven projects.
