Job Title: Account Manager - Production
Hours: 40 over a 5 day week Monday to Friday, on occasion, 5 days out of 7 Monday to Sunday for specific projects and/or client meetings
Location: London, Reading, Hybrid
The Role Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our Event Production Services team, working with some of the UK's most iconic venues and live event environments. This role is centred on building meaningful client relationships, developing commercially successful event solutions and contributing to the continued growth of our business. Acting as a trusted partner to customers, you'll manage opportunities from initial brief through to successful delivery, working closely with our production, technical and operational teams. We're particularly interested in candidates with a strong understanding of video, LED technologies who can bring valuable technical insight to customer conversations and project development.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients through all appropriate channels, including face-to-face meetings, telephone, video and written communication.
- Attend client meetings, pitches, site visits and venue reviews.
- Develop a clear understanding of clients' needs, objectives and technical requirements.
- Translate client briefs into commercially viable event solutions that can be successfully delivered by the project and operational teams.
- Work closely with Production Project Managers, technical specialists and creative teams to develop and cost event solutions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals and supporting documentation, ensuring commercial accuracy and profitability.
- Manage the financial aspects of assigned accounts and projects, including quoting, invoicing and margin control.
- Ensure delivery teams are provided with accurate and timely project information to support successful event execution.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to support long-term account growth.
- Work collaboratively across Event Production Services and the wider business to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Maintain accurate account records and support forecasting, reporting and pipeline management activities.
- Represent d&b solutions professionally at all times, demonstrating our values and commitment to customer service.

- Delivers against assigned revenue and margin targets.

Requirements for the Job
Technical Skills
- Previous experience within the live events, venue, production or AV sectors.
- Strong understanding of event production and delivery processes.
- Ability to interpret client briefs and develop commercially viable solutions.
- Good commercial awareness, including quoting, budgeting and margin management.
- Desirable knowledge of video, LED and presentation technologies.
- Strong Microsoft Office and business systems proficiency.
- Understanding of the operational requirements of successful event delivery.

Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience within the live events, venue, production or AV sectors is essential.
- Experience managing customer relationships, projects or accounts within an event delivery environment.
- Good understanding of venue operations and the delivery of a broad range of live, corporate and entertainment events.
- A formal degree is not essential; relevant industry experience and practical knowledge are equally valued.
- Proven ability to work with technical, operational and commercial teams to deliver successful event outcomes.
