Production Accountant - Manchester based
· Fast-growing non-scripted TV Production Scaleup
· £55-60,000 + bonus & benefits (3 days in the office) with superb career development

This Manchester based multiple-award winning TV Production group is in rapid growth and as a result has created a new role for an experienced Production Accountant.
Reporting to the Finance Director you will take the finance lead for several of their key productions.
Key Accountabilities:
· Manage a slate of allocated productions across the group’s slate.
· Build and maintain a strong relationship with Production Execs and Production Managers. Meet with new production teams and ensure they are fully aware of company financial procedures and adhere to them throughout the production period.
· Help production teams with the setup and operation of their productions on PMI
· Compile and update all production finance information (e.g. production budget, cost reports, cash-flows, edit schedules)
· Work with production managers to ensure accurate financial control of all production costs
· Be the initial point of contact for all financial matters for your allocated productions, liaising with both the purchase ledger department and management accountants where required
· Monitor all spend on your allocated productions, including supplier/freelancer invoice submission, petty cash spend, expense claims (ensuring correct invoicing and paperwork are submitted at all times)
· Post internal recharges and levies/deductions against your productions
· Monitoring of cash-flow
· Ad-hoc project & analysis work as directed by the FD

Required Background/Experience:

· Experienced Production Accountant from TV sector
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· An analytical mind and good attention to detail
· Ability to develop strong working relationships
· Knowledge of overseas tax credits and other governmental Film & TV incentives.
