MacGregor Black is partnering with a global manufacturer of technical protective clothing on the search for a Production Administrator based in Doncaster, UK, on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a business built on a reputation for safety-critical, high-performance garments used by professionals across more than 80 countries. The Production Administrator keeps the engine room of the manufacturing operation running maintaining trackers, chasing dates, updating tech packs and keeping critical path on schedule. This is a structured, detail-driven admin role: you won't own supplier strategy, sourcing decisions or demand planning those sit elsewhere your focus is accuracy, consistency and keeping the paperwork and schedules airtight so production never loses a day.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update delivery trackers, chasing accurate dates against POs raised with manufacturers
- Support the end-to-end administrative process across multiple product categories and international manufacturing partners
- Follow critical path deadlines closely to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of raw materials to manufacturers
- Prepare and circulate agendas and follow-up actions for weekly manufacturer and supply chain partner meetings
- Assist with submitting and chasing bulk raw material orders in line with critical path
- Keep technical packs accurately updated with any changes made during production
- Prepare prototype sampling packs for manufacturer send-outs, including correct BOM and technical information
- Support sourcing administration for substitute fabrics and trims, coordinating testing and certification paperwork
- Provide general administrative support to the manufacturing team as required

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative, coordination or support role within apparel, textiles or a similar production environment
- Strong, confident day-to-day Excel skills this role is spreadsheet and tracker-heavy
- Highly organised, process-driven and comfortable with repetitive, detail-critical tasks
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines without ambiguity in scope this is an execution and accuracy role, not a strategic or supplier-facing decision-making one
- Background in PPE, technical workwear or performance clothing an advantage, not essential
- Clear, professional communication style for liaising with manufacturers and internal teams
