Role Description
The Production Administrator is a full-time, on-site role located in Gainsborough, responsible for supporting the smooth running of daily manufacturing operations. This position involves scheduling and updating production plans, maintaining accurate records, and preparing documentation related to orders, materials, and outputs. The role includes coordinating with production teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timelines are met and information is clearly communicated. The Production Administrator will handle general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and report preparation, as well as monitoring basic performance metrics and highlighting variances or issues. This role requires close attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and a practical attitude toward supporting both office and factory floor activities.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning and Production Management to coordinate schedules, resources, and workflow.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to review data, track performance, and identify operational issues or trends.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to liaise with production staff, suppliers, and management clearly and professionally.
- Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance experience, including data entry, record keeping, document preparation, and basic reporting.
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is beneficial, particularly in production support or administration roles.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, email systems) and basic ERP or production tracking tools is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities are important for success in this role.
- A relevant vocational qualification or training in administration, business, or manufacturing operations is desirable.
