Scope Of The Role

To oversee the safe, accurate and efficient control of production and logistics activities from goods receipt through to despatch.

Assist and process SAP-driven production control, inventory accuracy, kitting, RTS, reworks, and internal material movements.

Support shopfloor, assembly, plumbing, goods receiving, and aftermarket operations.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and control production orders, planned order conversions, reworks, reversals, RTS, and production priorities.
  • Provide SAP system support across production, logistics, engineering, purchasing, and stores.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy across stores, Maxi and Kardex, including cycle counting and investigation of discrepancies.
  • Assist with kitting and ensure materials are delivered to the correct machines, assemblies, or sub-assemblies on time.
  • Control goods-in, goods-out, and internal material movements with appropriate quality checks and documentation.
  • Process Factory Failure Reports (FFRs), scrap production orders, and missing stock issues.
  • Support ECM processing.
  • As part of a team, assist with packing, inspection, and despatch of finished goods for internal, aftermarket, and intercompany projects.
  • Participate in month-end processing, machine closures, audits, and year-end stock takes.
  • Understand, and work at all times in line with Fives Values and Directives; specifically following the highest standards of health and safety.
  • Responsible for all aspects of Data Protection, Information Security and Cyber Security.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP, Powerpick, and production/logistics control systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Proven problem-solving ability within a manufacturing environment.
  • Effective communication skills across all areas of the business.
  • Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • FLT reach truck, counterbalance, and VNA licences (desirable).
  • Ability to work alone or part of a team.
  • Able to manage own time and meet tight deadlines.
