FOCUS OF THE JOB
Produce sterile and non-sterile Investigational Medicinal Products, comparators or nIMP. MAC focuses on manufacturing medications for Phase 1 through Phase 3 studies. We support both independent research centres and the NHS in conducting clinical trials. In this role you will be working at the forefront of improving health. Working within an efficient GMP team you will be able to make a significant contribution to MAC pharmaceutical services. Within GMP we welcome innovation and process improvements to support your personal development.
KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a desire for a career in GMP manufacturing or clinical trials. Interest in pharmaceutical applications and production. Experience of working in GMP or GCP environment is desired but not essential. Knowledge of sterile and non-sterile Investigational Medicinal Products production is desired but not essential.

JOB ROLE
- Assisting with production procedures; un-blinded and blinded dispensing/assembly or manufacture of medication/IMP/nIMP and supply/resupply.
- Work in cleanroom production units with appropriate PPE.
- To maintain all environmental standards required for the Production unit as defined in standards laid out by GMP.
- To ensure unit cleanliness is maintained, using environmental cleaning agents supplied. Carry out cleaning activities as per cleaning schedule for production areas.
- Assist in stock management and ordering of consumables, equipment.
- Complete broth validations and end of session media fills.
- Assist in equipment maintenance and validation.
- To ensure that all processes and procedures are GMP compliant, working alongside quality assurance.
- To maintain a high level of initiative and personal responsibility, liaising appropriately with team members and managers to ensure your job role is efficiently carried out.
- To work according to current data protection standards and practice good information management. Maintenance of strict confidentiality of patient and business related data.
