Overview

Premier League Studios is seeking a Production Assistant to join the Media Operations department, supporting the On-Site team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong interest in football and live operations to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to outside broadcast activities and technical engineering projects.

Report into the Production Manager, delivering essential production assistance and administrative support across the On-Site and Technical Engineering teams.

Our hybrid-working model also allows you some variety on your place of work, offering you the chance to work from home on some days each week, where possible. You will be expected to attend the office or site visits in line with our company policy. All staff liaise closely with their line manager to manage their time appropriately and according to their work and team requirements.

The Role

Provide key production assistance and administrative support to the Access & Onsite team at Premier League Productions.

Support the setup and coordination of shoots in the UK and occasionally internationally, including:

  • Booking crew and on-screen talent (e.g. reporters).
  • Raising work orders and processing invoices.
  • Sourcing locations, props, and equipment.
  • Arranging shoots, camera kits, travel, and accommodation.
  • Preparing and distributing call sheets.
  • Attend shoots on-site when required to support smooth and efficient production delivery.

Manage production administration, including:

  • Monitoring and tracking costs against budgets.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling and workforce records using Xytech (or equivalent scheduling tools).
  • Support Health & Safety compliance and processes as required.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Provide general production support and undertake additional duties as required by the Production Coordinator and Production Manager.

Requirements Of The Role

  • Previous experience in a Production Assistant or Runner role.
  • Previous administration experience (preferably in a production environment).
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role dealing with queries.
  • Appreciation for production processes (including pre, production and post-production).
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages with good typing speed.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • The ability to work well as part of a team, with a good level of initiative to be able to effectively complete tasks on your own without close supervision.
  • Previous experience of working to tight deadlines and working effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent time management - reliable and punctual.
  • Positive, professional, and keen approach to work, demonstrating a drive to progress in Production Management.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends as required.
