Production Assistant

Contract
6 weeks, full-time (40hrs/wk), with the possibility to extend. Some flexibility needed around foreign shoots.

Location
Remote working — however preference for candidates based in the Bristol/Bath area, due to occasional travel to Bath & London.
Pay

About the role
We're a team with credits on theatrical documentaries that have played at film festivals worldwide, as well as titles made for major streamers, with Academy Award, BAFTA, BFI, RTS and Emmy-nominated credits.
We're looking for a Production Assistant to support an international documentary currently in production, working closely with a small, friendly, UK-based team. This could suit someone already working as a production assistant, though experience isn't essential — what matters more is that you're organised, meticulous, reliable and have a real eye for detail. You'll be relied on for things that need to be right, so precision counts for more than experience.

What you'll be doing
- General filing
- Logging rushes
- Research support — locations, contacts, contributors and similar background digging
- Helping manage team meetings
- PA work for senior team
- Support with international — shoot set up
- Occasional couriering between London and Bath
- Helping set up work flow systems (under guidance), e.g. for edits
- Supporting the team in setting up international shoots
- General production support as needed

What we're looking for
- Experience as a production assistant, or in a similarly fast-paced admin role, is a bonus — but not essential
- A genuine passion for organisation and detail — meticulous, and comfortable being relied on to get things right
- Comfortable with everyday tech (Google Workspace, WhatsApp, video calls)
- Discreet with sensitive material (contributor details, releases, etc.)
- Able to travel to Bath and London occasionally
- A team player who's easy to work with
