Materials Junior Assistant
Create Recruitment Specialists are working with a globally recognised, high-growth womenswear fashion brand, renowned for its glamorous, figure-enhancing designs and strong presence across social media and international markets. They are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Materials Junior Assistant to join their fast-paced team.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in fabrics, textiles, and fashion who is looking to build a career within materials and product development.
About the Role
Working closely with internal teams and overseas suppliers, you will provide key administrative and operational support across the materials function. You will be responsible for supporting the approval process for lab dips and bulk submissions across all departments, as well as assisting with fabric sourcing, organising materials, and liaising with suppliers. You will work closely with overseas suppliers to ensure clear communication and timely follow-ups regarding lab dips and bulk approvals, while also maintaining and organising the in-house fabric library.

The role will also involve supporting wider office administration, including:
- Collecting, sending, and receiving post
- Collating monthly office expenses for Accounts
- Assisting wider teams with creating line-ups, boards, and refreshing trend information
This is a hands-on position where you will be encouraged to get involved across the business and develop a broad understanding of the materials and product development process.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and have excellent attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication skills. You will be comfortable managing multiple tasks, working to deadlines, and using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Previous experience within fabrics, textiles, or fashion would be advantageous, but most importantly, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, eager to learn, and genuinely passionate about building a career within fashion.
