Production Assistant / Production Runner — Client Project

Aru Labs | Project-based opportunity

Aru Labs is looking for Production Assistants / Production Runners for an upcoming independent web-series project being produced for a client.

This is a project-based opportunity, not a permanent position at Aru Labs.

The series is a contemporary story exploring startups, ambition, relationships, friendship, money, and life.

We're looking for reliable, energetic people who can help keep the production moving smoothly behind the scenes.

What you'll do

  • Support the Director, 1st AD, and production team
  • Assist with day-to-day production logistics
  • Help prepare locations before filming
  • Coordinate small errands and production requirements
  • Assist with crew and talent movement
  • Help manage props, equipment, and supplies
  • Support catering, transport, and accommodation logistics
  • Help communicate information between departments
  • Assist with setup and wrap each day
  • Help keep production areas organized
  • Handle last-minute tasks and on-ground requirements
  • Support the crew wherever needed

What we're looking for

You don't need extensive film experience. We're looking for people who are:

  • Reliable
  • Organized
  • Proactive
  • Good communicators
  • Comfortable working long production days
  • Comfortable traveling
  • Able to stay calm when plans change
  • Willing to learn
  • Interested in filmmaking and production

Previous experience in film, events, content production, advertising, theatre, or hospitality is a plus, but not mandatory.

Working arrangement

  • Remote: Limited pre-production
  • Travel: Required during production
  • Engagement: Project-based / contract
  • Production window: Late November – early December
  • Potential locations: San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, London, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Bali, and other global creative and startup hubs

International and India-based candidates are welcome.
