Would you like to join us as a Production Chef?

You will prepare food to a high standard in a busy food production site. You will follow recipes, prepare ingredients, and make sure products meet the right quality and food safety standards. You will use machinery and site systems as part of your daily work. You will also make sure ingredients and products can be fully traced at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food to set recipes and standards
  • Collect ingredients from Chill, Ambient, and Freezer storage areas
  • Book all transformed ingredients on the site system
  • Use production machinery safely as part of your daily work
  • Follow system processes and standard operating procedures
  • Label ingredients and products correctly
  • Make sure all ingredients and batches can be fully traced
  • Make sure all paperwork and records are clear, accurate, and easy to read
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety rules

  • Experience as a chef or in a food production role
  • Good knowledge of food preparation and cooking
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and food safety
  • Able to follow recipes, processes, and standard operating procedures
  • Comfortable using production machinery and computer systems
