Production Cleaner – Nights

Burton upon Trent

45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00pm to 6:00am
£41,010.52 per annum plus benefits

We currently have an opportunity for a Production Cleaner (nights) to join our team at our Burton upon Trent site. The role requires an experienced Industrial Cleaner who is able to work on a permanent nights.

What's the role mission?

In this role, you’ll ensure specific areas across the production site, along with some of the machinery, are cleaned to the highest standard. This will enable us to meet our daily production and quality targets and will help to minimise potential downtime

With prior experience in how a plant operates, you’ll be able to clean specialist equipment such as mixers and conveyors. Health and safety will be key, and you’ll be able to spot and report any production issues immediately

A flexible approach to working requirements is expected to ensure adequate cover to meet production demands, this includes forklift truck driving, loading shovel operation, and general housekeeping

What are the mission critical skills?

  • A background in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment
  • Previous industrial cleaning experience a distinct advantage
  • Previous experience driving a forklift truck
  • Previous experience of driving a front-loading shovel
  • Able to show a flexible approach to varying work activities
  • A team player
  • Happy to undertake further training required for the role
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace
