Job Purpose
The Manufacturing Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, and monitoring production activities to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This role serves as a key liaison between production, planning, purchasing, engineering and quality teams to ensure schedules are met, materials are available, and production targets are achieved while maintaining safety and quality standards
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with all relevant departments (Manufacturing / AME / Commercial / Supply Chain) and monitor upcoming production and adjust schedules as needed to address delays, equipment issues, or material shortages
- Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand and operational goals
- Liaise with Internal Teams to ensure Materials and Tooling are available to execute manufacturing plans
- Responsible for Backlog daily management and data accuracy
- Inputting data and reporting out on the Planning change log
- Assisting with contingency planning if external issues arise
- Weekly new order review meeting and action tracking
- Raising Purchase Orders requests for material and tooling
- Supply and Demand monitoring
- Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, documentation, and records
