Role: Production Coordinator (Orus)

Location: Worksop, S80 3AT

Hours: 40 hpw, between 06:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday

Hourly rate: £18.50 p/hr

Are you an experienced manufacturing professional who enjoys supporting others, solving problems and keeping production on track? As our Production Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to person within the Orus production area, helping the team work safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. You’ll also support and deputise for the PDI, Quality & Process Supervisor when required.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate day-to-day production activity and help the team achieve safety, quality and output targets
  • Provide clear guidance and practical support to team members
  • Monitor quality, raise concerns and support investigations where needed
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and operation times
  • Promote a safe, clean and organised working environment
  • Escalate production, quality or cost issues when additional support is required
  • Help supervise overtime shifts when needed

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience within manufacturing engineering or the commercial vehicle industry
  • Previous experience coordinating, supervising or guiding a team
  • The ability to read technical drawings and follow standard operating procedures
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety
  • Electrical, hydraulic fitting or electro-mechanical assembly skills
  • A practical approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Flexibility to support weekday or weekend overtime when required
  • A relevant manufacturing or engineering qualification, product knowledge and confidence using Outlook, Word and Excel would be welcome, but are not essential
