Job Description

Coordinates and supervises the daily and weekly activities that occur within assigned area of the location/operation; provides leadership, motivation, training, and development of workforce; executes against customer/site requirements; participates in continuous improvement activities as part of the site management team and ensures company policies are followed and site develops positive work culture that makes our Company First Choice for Associates.

  • Oversee all Customization Planning activities, including all facets of production planning and department staff.
  • Plan, manage, and adjust the daily workload and staffing requirements.
  • Ensure shift/daily/weekly workload planning and volume forecasting routines are accomplished (i.e., staffing, equipment, space).
  • Run daily planning meetings with Operations and the PM team to determine the work schedule based on customer orders and the availability of raw materials, feeder, and production capacity.
  • Adjust plans and schedules to meet changing circumstances.
  • Provide a professional environment with relation to external/internal customers such as warehouse/office associates, vendors, and customer representatives.
  • Organize and lead the focus on improved productivity levels in a manner that first stresses effectiveness by improving processes and secondly stresses the efficiency of associate work.
  • Participate in the collection of performance measurements consistent with customer, vendor, and site requirements.
  • Participate in the completion of workshop action plans, LEAN activities, and best practice sharing/implementation.

  • Associate degree or high school equivalent, required
  • 1-3 years of experience in industry
  • 2+ years of experience of relevant experience, required

Salary

The Production Control Planning Supervisor role has a national salary range of $62,000 - $75,000 with bonus potential.

Additional Requirements

  • Requires strong written & verbal communication skills to interact daily with management, associates, staffing agency, and the customer.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook with the ability to master additional computer programs such as Nulogy.
  • Demonstrates strong time management and prioritizing skills with attention to details.
