Production Controller – Sheffield - Competitive Salary

Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, they are currently seeking an experienced Production Controller to join their team.
Working Hours / Benefits
- 185 hours annual leave, with the option to buy or sell up to 37 hours each year

The Role
As Production Controller, you will be the driving force behind the smooth running of product and materials through the business, keeping the Master Production Schedule on track. Working closely with Cell Leaders and team members, you will:
- Actively drive parts through your area of responsibility, running expedite and work-to-list reports and liaising with planners and stores to keep WIP moving
- Maintain production boards on a live basis and present daily production meetings, understanding and executing the MPS plan
- Propose priority requirements ahead of the daily walk round and support it in person
- Coordinate with other business units and cell leaders to expedite parts across the factory, including stock takes and inventory counts as required
- Attend daily Hotspot reviews and complete daily handovers, highlighting product status, priorities and areas of concern
- Support the Business Unit Manager with customer update data and contribute to continuous improvement of working methods

The Person
- Previous experience within aerospace (essential)
- Experience of working to production targets (essential)
- Confident decision-maker with good communication and coordination skills
- Positive, energetic and self-motivated, with a genuine can-do attitude
- Good computer literacy, including MS Office
