About WePack

At WePack, we provide high-quality contract packing solutions for a diverse range of customers. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Production Controller to join our Operations team.

This is a key role responsible for coordinating production activities, managing material availability, maintaining accurate system data, and ensuring customer requirements are met through effective planning and control of production processes.

The Role

As Production Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring production plans, materials, data, and processes are aligned to deliver customer orders on time and in full.

You will work closely with Operations, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Outworker partners to ensure smooth operational flow across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop and maintain production schedules within Nulogy.
  • Coordinate customer orders and production activities to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Assess resource requirements and production capacity.
  • Monitor production progress and communicate updates, risks, and delays to the Sales team.
  • Support daily production meetings with accurate and timely information.

Job Management & Administration

  • Review production job bags.
  • Verify BOMs, specifications, targets, and associated paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
  • Progress jobs through relevant systems to ensure effective workflow management.
  • Create pallet tags and release project orders to the appropriate operational teams.

Contractor Coordination

  • Create pick lists for contractor jobs within Nulogy.
  • Monitor the progress of external projects and identify potential bottlenecks.
  • Communicate with contractors to ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Maintain delivery and collection schedules for projects.
  • Prepare and maintain invoices.

Stock & Materials Control

  • Monitor stock levels and material availability.
  • Proactively identify and resolve material shortages.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Support stock ordering activities to maintain continuity of supply.

Systems & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate production and operational data within Nulogy and other business systems.
  • Support users of Nulogy by troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
  • Drive effective system utilisation, automation, and data accuracy across the business.
  • Maintain production trackers and operational reporting tools.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Track and analyse production performance and operational KPIs.
  • Monitor targets, waste levels, quality performance, and production output.
  • Produce reports and performance information for management review.
  • Identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Process Improvement

  • Review and improve workflows, procedures, and planning processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, and decision-making through better use of systems and data.

About You

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a Production Planning, Production Control, Supply Chain, Scheduling, Operations Planning, or similar role.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Experience using ERP, production planning, or stock management systems.
  • Confident Microsoft Excel user.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience using Nulogy.
  • Experience within manufacturing, contract packing, production, or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and management processes.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean.
