Description

Please note this vacancy will close once 200 applications have been received. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of products from our Education and Reference lists, including full colour, mono and novelty, working across highly successful brands, and bestselling titles.

Reporting to the Production Manager for Collins, the Production Controller will be working within the Group Production team to produce frontlist, reprints and special sale titles, as well as giving general support to the rest of the team. We are looking for an individual with book production experience who will confidently produce the products within the agreed budget, quality and lead-time requirements.

As well as strong organisation and communication skills, we’re looking for someone with a creative spark and a keen eye for detail. You must be able to work to deadlines on multiple projects at the same time, and be able to prioritise your workload. This is an ideal opportunity for a Production Assistant ready for their next step, or a Production Controller looking for a change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
