Are you an experienced Production Controller? Do you have knowledge of MRP/ERP systems? If so, our client, a leading manufacturer, is recruiting for a Production Controller for their site in Derby.

The role will involve being responsible for managing production planning and MRP, driving best practice to enhance production control performance.

Job Description

  • Develop and manage production plans that maximise labour and equipment utilisation while aligning with customer demand and commercial requirements.
  • Manage MRP activities, capacity plans, work-to-lists and production performance metrics, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Manager and internal stakeholders to manage customer order intake, challenge lead times and resolve production issues.
  • Monitor adherence to production plans and ensure production batch cards are released to the shop floor on time and in full.
  • Drive continuous improvement across production planning and control, maintaining high data integrity within Paragon and supporting wider operational efficiency initiatives.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a production planning, production control or similar manufacturing role (Aerospace is advantageous)
  • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, ideally with experience using Paragon.
  • Experience developing production plans, capacity plans and work-to-lists within a manufacturing environment.

Permanent

Salary dependent on experience

Monday – Thursday 07:30 - 16:00, Friday 07:30 – 12:30 (39 hours)
