Job Purpose and Overview
Direct day-to-day activities of the team in respect to line assignment, completion of scheduled production, quality, efficiency, and completion of required paperwork while ensuring compliance with plant safety, food safety, and GMP.
Shift & Schedule: 3rd Shift, Monday - Friday 10:00 pm - 6:30 am, including every fifth weekend. Overtime required based on business needs.
What will you do as a Production Coordinator at Dawn Foods?
- Direct activities of the team, communicate daily production schedule and expectations.
- Monitor the process in relation to product standards and efficiencies, assign duties, ensure line rotation where applicable.
- Train new hires, retrain and onboard new team members.
- Assist and have working knowledge of all areas of process.
- Set up line for specific product run, including required packaging, labels, toppings, fillings, and all other required items pertinent to specific line requirements and product specifications.
- Participate in production activities as needed to support staffing and operational needs.
- Completion of paperwork, effective operation of hand-held scanner to record finished product.
- Effectively communicate with supervisor and team.
- Support and instruct team members in production line practices, procedures, and duties.
- Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices food safety procedures, plant policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate and apply safe work practices.
- Demonstrate confidentiality and discretion regarding all communication (spoken, written, or otherwise) with all members of Dawn management.
- Support the Circle of Excellence and the Dawn Philosophy of Team Dawn.
- Other duties as assigned.

What Does It Take to be a Production Coordinator at Dawn Foods?
Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing or similar environment
- Experience in a lead or supervisory role, or equivalent leadership, coaching, and team support experience, required
- Experience with SAP or comparable ERP platforms
- Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Verbal and written communication
- Apply basic reasoning and problem-solving

Compensation
The base salary for this position is $59,470-$89,210 with bonus eligibility.
