Production & Distribution Manager

About Charoux
Charoux is a fast-growing Mens and Womens designer brand launching in Fall 26, it is already stocked in the world’s leading accounts and is the centrepiece of a fashion group, founded by Wil Beedle, that also includes Shoreditch Ski Club. The group also has an agency wing, designing, developing and producing collections for some of the world’s leading designer and luxury brands.
The Role
The Production & Distribution Manager will own the end-to-end product journey on all projects — from SMS and bulk production through to global delivery across wholesale and D2C channels. Based mainly in our East London studio and reporting to the Managing Director, this role is responsible for building and managing the critical path across all brands, overseeing supplier relationships, safeguarding margin, and ensuring on time deliveries across all brands, efficient logistics and fulfilment operations.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Critical Path Management
- Build and manage the full company critical path across bulk production, wholesale and DTC orders, press samples and special projects.
- Oversee production from SMS to delivery, attending fittings and collaborating closely with Design and factories.
- Lead production planning, procurement, price and MOQ negotiations.
- Own product margin, setting target ex-factory costs and delivering agreed margin objectives.
- Build seasonal costing and pricing matrices to support commercial decision-making.
- Manage and optimise Zedonk for production planning and order management.
- Develop strong supplier partnerships to ensure on-time, in-budget delivery.
- Source and evaluate new manufacturers to ensure quality, value and continuity.
- Visit factories as required.
- Ensure compliance with all wholesale and distribution partner inbound requirements.

Logistics & Distribution
- Lead all shipping, logistics and fulfilment activity.
- Manage relationships with 3PL and transport partners, negotiating cost and service levels.
- Oversee DHL account and continuously review logistics performance.
- Manage end-to-end order lifecycle across internal and external systems (Zedonk, Shopify, Mintsoft, NEXGEN, GS1).
- Oversee stock intake, allocation, pick/pack and dispatch processes.
- Generate invoices and packing documentation and partner with Finance to ensure prompt payment.
- Implement and manage vendor manuals and EDI processes where required.
- Ensure all wholesale orders ship in line with customer requirements.

General
- Build strong cross-functional relationships, particularly with Design.
- Continuously improve production and logistics processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Support the Managing Director and team as required in a fast-paced, growing environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience at manager level in a similar production/logistics role within fashion.
- Experience working within a small, entrepreneurial or start-up business.
- Highly organised, proactive and solution-focused.
- Open to AI management tools to support calendar and timeline management.
- Comfortable in agile and fast-paced environments.
- Strong understanding of wholesale and DTC operational processes.
- Strong people skills.
- Proficiency in Zedonk, Mintsoft and Shopify preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills.
