π Production Engineer | Aviation Engineering Opportunity
Are you an experienced aviation professional with a passion for aircraft maintenance, technical planning, and problem-solving?
I am currently recruiting for a Production Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of aircraft maintenance activities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled engineering environment, working with industry-leading aircraft and maintenance programmes.
π§ What You'll Be Doing
- Engineering and staging maintenance tasks from approved documentation
- Creating and sequencing work packages to support scheduled maintenance checks
- Supporting production teams with technical queries and issue resolution
- Liaising with technical teams on out-of-scope requirements
- Managing tooling, materials, resource planning and maintenance instructions
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and first embodiment feedback
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance
- Responding to Engineering Query Forms (EQFs) and supporting business readiness activities

π― What We're Looking For
- Strong experience working within aircraft maintenance or production engineering
- Excellent understanding of aircraft mechanical and/or avionics systems
- Knowledge of maintenance programmes and regulatory requirements
- Ability to analyse technical data and make informed decisions
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
- Resilient, adaptable and focused on delivering results
- Good understanding of safety, quality and human factors
- SAP system knowledge and experience

π Qualifications & Experience
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline
OR
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship with relevant industry experience
- Ability to hold relevant aviation approvals
- Working knowledge of aircraft and component maintenance practices
- Familiarity with engineering systems and technical documentation
