Production Engineer, Offshore Renewable Energy | Weybridge, Surrey

Fancy putting your engineering skills to work on some of the biggest subsea installation projects in UK and European waters?

We're looking for a Production Engineer to join our Offshore Energy team in Weybridge, Surrey, supporting the delivery of Subsea Rock Installation (SRI) projects across the UK and Europe. You'll work at the sharp end of offshore engineering, from shaping technical proposals at tender stage through to solving real problems on live projects, with regular contact with the vessel team offshore.

What you'll be doing

  • Getting stuck into production engineering for tenders, technical documentation, execution planning, and input into the technical proposal
  • Working closely with the Tender Manager, Cost Estimator, Project Scheduler and Technical Director to shape winning, deliverable bids
  • Supporting execution preparation and live projects with hands-on technical problem-solving
  • Digging into the engineering detail: fall-pipe dynamic behaviour, rock particle dispersion, cable protection assessments, seabed morphology and placement accuracy
  • Feeding lessons learned from operations straight back into how we tender and estimate, helping the business get sharper every time
  • Helping build out the tools, data analytics and monitoring systems that support all of the above

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
