Want to work on next-generation laser communications technology?

I'm working with an innovative technology company developing cutting-edge products, and they're looking for a Production Engineer to join their growing team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in taking products from prototype builds through to production, working across manufacturing, assembly, integration, testing, and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building, assembling, and testing complex mechanical, electrical, or optical systems
  • Supporting the transition of products from prototype into production
  • Troubleshooting, fault-finding, and resolving manufacturing issues
  • Creating and maintaining SOPs and production documentation
  • Driving improvements across manufacturing processes, efficiency, and quality
  • Supporting 3D printing and managing parts and inventory
  • Working with suppliers and outsourced components

We're looking for:

  • Production or manufacturing experience within a Mechanical, Electrical, or Optical engineering environment
  • Hands-on experience with assembly, integration, and testing
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
  • Experience working with complex hardware or technical products
  • Someone proactive, practical, and detail-oriented who enjoys solving problems
  • Experience supporting the journey from prototype to production would be highly beneficial
