CNC Production Engineer
Permanent | Full-Time | On-Site

First Achieve are acting on behalf of our client, a successful manufacturing business, who are looking to appoint an experienced CNC Production Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across the complete manufacturing process — from reviewing drawings and planning the most effective approach, through offline CNC programming and problem solving, to proving processes and producing high-quality components.

The Role
Planning & Programming
- Review engineering drawings and manufacturing requirements.
- Develop effective machining strategies, tooling and workholding solutions.
- Create and optimise CNC programmes using CAM.
- Identify and resolve potential manufacturing issues before production.
- Plan efficient and practical manufacturing processes.
Machining & Production
- Set and operate CNC machinery as required.
- Prove, test and refine CNC programmes.
- Support first-off and production runs.
- Produce components to drawing and required quality standards.
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues.
