Production Engineer

Permanent | Cannock

  • Do you have experience in electrical panel design or production engineering?
  • Have you supported new product introduction within a manufacturing environment?
  • Are you passionate about improving manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvement?

What will you be doing?

  • Producing electrical designs and production engineering information
  • Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) from design through to manufacture
  • Creating and maintaining BOMs, production documentation and engineering data
  • Supporting Design for Manufacture and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Managing engineering changes (ECNs) and supporting production with technical queries
  • Working closely with Engineering, Production and Quality to deliver projects on time

Where will you be doing it? You'll be joining a growing electrical manufacturing business, helping to bridge the gap between design and production. You'll play a key role in ensuring new products are ready for manufacture while driving improvements in quality, efficiency and engineering processes.

What will you need?

  • Experience in electrical panel design, production engineering or manufacturing engineering
  • Understanding of electrical drawings and production documentation
  • Experience supporting NPI and engineering change processes
  • Good knowledge of CAD packages and manufacturing processes
  • Strong problem solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
