Production Engineer – Network Development
Metric are partnered with a fast growing Neocloud building high-performance AI infrastructure to power the world's most advanced AI models. Through the development and operation of large-scale GPU dense data centres, this company enables Frontier labs, governments and businesses to push technological boundaries.
The team is building the network infrastructure needed to scale AI compute to 10 GW. This means taking network faults to closed tickets, automating the entire repair lifecycle from detection to resolution, and creating monitoring platforms from scratch to deliver real-time visibility, reliability, and operational excellence across a rapidly expanding fleet.

Job Details
- Contract: Permanent
- Onsite: Preference would be onsite as much as possible in London, minimum 10%
The Role
- Own network health: Define real-time monitoring requirements, create dashboards to show on-call engineers a true show of the state of the network across sites
- Build debugging tools: Link cross-fleet diagnostics, command execution, and repair visualization
- Automate repair: Integrate the network failure process from detection to recovery
- Own growth, reliability, and operation of large-scale networks

Experience
- 3+ years working with physical data center infrastructure
- Experience developing automation tools in Go and Python and knowledge of network monitoring (NETCONF, SONiC, gNMI, and gRPC)
- Experienced in AI tooling, knowledge of large-scale datacenter fabrics, and out-of-band network management
