As a Production technical support specialist you'll play a key role in developing and improving repair processes. You'll support the production team with manual application concerns and support the implementation of these new techniques. It's an opportunity to unleash your inner passion, learn from the brightest minds and continuously grow your technical expertise.

  • Implementation of repair right first time (RFT), improvement projects driven by data and visual standards
  • Inspecting painted vehicle bodies and components, assessing film thickness and appearance, and implementing corrective actions when required
  • Identifying and delivering process optimisation projects, reducing waste and improving paint application performance through data-driven actions
  • Investigating production issues through structured problem-solving and root cause analysis, helping deliver robust and sustainable solutions
  • Supporting with process creation and training of new techniques and processes to the production team

What You’ll Need

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

  • Experience working within an automotive paint application or manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, ideally within paint operations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams
  • Confident using computer-based systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement practical solutions
