Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.
The Role
We are looking for a skilled Production Installation Engineer to support the manufacture and testing of control panels and MCCs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, wire and assemble control panels and MCCs from schematic, circuit and layout drawings
- Prepare components, materials, tools and work areas to support efficient production and installation activities
- Interpret technical drawings and project documentation to ensure compliance with design requirements
- Assist with testing, commissioning and fault-finding activities
- Carry out quality checks, inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements
- Liaise with supervisors, managers and other contractors to ensure safe and efficient delivery of projects
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, workmanship and workshop organisation
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures, including lock-off systems, RAMS and STAR (Stop, Think, Act, Review)
