Production Lead
📍 Location – Leeds, hybrid
💰 Salary – circa £50k
Own the projects. Lead the people. Make brilliant things happen.
We’re looking for an experienced Production Lead to take ownership of ambitious events, activations and workshops from first brief through to final delivery.
You’ll be the trusted production expert for clients, internal teams and external partners — keeping multiple projects moving, protecting the creative idea and making sure every detail lands on time, on budget and on brief.
This is also a chance to help shape and grow a core agency offering, building smarter processes, stronger supplier relationships and a body of work the wider industry will notice.
What You’ll Be Doing
- ✔ Leading production projects – Own everything from large-scale community events and activations to smaller workshops.
- ✔ Owning client relationships – Build trust, manage expectations and lead meetings and presentations with confidence.
- ✔ Keeping delivery on track – Manage timelines, budgets, resources, critical paths and multiple moving parts without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- ✔ Bringing teams together – Work closely with client services, creative teams, agency departments and external suppliers to keep everyone aligned.
- ✔ Managing suppliers – Build long-term partnerships, lead commercial conversations and find innovative partners who can elevate the finished work.
- ✔ Protecting quality and profitability – Maintain high standards while managing forecasting, reconciliation, invoicing and project profitability.
- ✔ Improving how things work – Develop tools, processes and working practices that save time, money and resources.
- ✔ Leading and developing people – Support direct reports, provide meaningful feedback and help junior colleagues grow in confidence and capability.
- ✔ Supporting agency growth – Spot opportunities within existing accounts, contribute to new business and help deliver agreed commercial targets.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
