The Production Management organization provides business critical application management and support for our Services, Markets, Banking, USCC, Wealth and Functions clients globally.
Join our Stability Governance team as a Lead (SVP), a pivotal role within the broader horizontal Optimization and Enablement function dedicated to strengthening our entire Production Management landscape. This position offers a unique opportunity to actively shape and drive critical stability governance initiatives and frameworks.
As Production Management evolves its operating model through AI capabilities and intelligent automation, this role is critical to that transformation. You will not just govern stability; you will help redefine what it means. We are seeking a proactive individual with a strong understanding of Production Management, Risk Management, and Data Analysis, eager to apply their expertise within the complex and highly regulated environment of the banking sector. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring the resilience and optimal performance of our vital systems.
Responsibilities:
- Define, govern, and oversee the strategic reporting framework for monthly stability metrics across diverse business units, leveraging advanced data analysis and visualization to translate complex, multi-dimensional datasets into high-impact, executive-ready insights, and then presenting to senior leadership.
- Quantitative KPI & SLO modelling to architect, establish, and continuously evolve the global KPI and Service Level Objective (SLO) frameworks for application stability, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk appetite and business objectives.
- Utilize artificial intelligence and automation tools to reduce toil and enhance efficiency.
- Define, institutionalize, and champion enterprise-wide stability best practices and engineering standards, driving a culture of continuous service improvement and operational excellence across the technology landscape.
- Lead cross-functional, deep dive thematic analysis of systemic stability data to propose and execute preventative and corrective strategic initiatives that mitigate risk.
- Own and govern the Focus and Intensive Care application improvement programs, partnering with senior application owners to engineer remediation roadmaps for high-risk systems.
- Govern the review and attestation of processes for critical stability artifacts (e.g., Change Risk Index, Market Event Management).
- Provide program management oversight for high-priority stability initiatives, managing stakeholder expectations, and mentoring mid-level engineers and analysts within the horizontal stability team.
- As the Stability Team’s operational lead, you’ll manage the team’s day-to-day priorities, using sound judgement and autonomy to make decisions and delivery results.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
