Production Manager | Shop Floor Leadership | Up to £60,000
A well-established manufacturer is looking for a Production Manager to run the factory and help the business grow.
This is a practical leadership role.
You will take ownership of how work moves through the site — planning the team, keeping quality and delivery on track, and finding better ways to build product without adding unnecessary cost or time.

- Run day-to-day production and keep jobs moving
- Plan labour and materials so work can start on time
- Lead and brief the team each day
- Work closely with design, quality, purchasing, and management
- Track output, quality, and despatch performance
- Improve processes, layouts, and lead times
- Maintain safety standards and accurate production records
What we’re looking for
- Solid mechanical manufacturing experience
- Previous production or workshop leadership
- Confident reading drawings and technical information
- Used to driving lean / continuous improvement
- Strong organiser who can lead a team
- Comfortable with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- CAD experience would be an advantage
