At Evergreen Garden Care, Europe's leading garden care company, we're looking for a Production Manager to join our operations team in Hatfield and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our production performance.
About the Role
Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll provide strong operational leadership across our production site, ensuring production plans are delivered safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively whilst maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, service, and team engagement. You'll lead production teams, manage resources and shift plans, drive performance against key KPIs, and champion continuous improvement across the operation.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading day to day production operations and building a high performance culture
- Driving results across safety, quality, service, output, cost and efficiency KPIs
- Managing labour, resources, materials and production priorities
- Coaching and developing teams to build capability and accountability
- Championing Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working cross-functionally with planning, procurement, warehouse and operational teams
- Ensuring compliance with quality, health & safety and operational standards

About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Proven experience leading production teams within manufacturing, processing or a similar operational environment
- Strong people leadership, coaching and development skills
- Experience managing performance, resources and operational KPIs
- A continuous improvement mindset, with knowledge of Lean principles highly desirable
- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- The resilience and adaptability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
