Production Manager (CNC)

Burnley

A GBP 45,000 to A GBP 50,000 (Flexible DOE) + Profit Share Incentive + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Vink Reward Scheme + Training Opportunities

40 Hours per Week

Monday to Friday: 13:30 Finish on Friday

Production Manager required for a successful manufacturing company with a 25-year trading history. Candidates will need experience working in a CNC machining environment and will need familiarity with 4/5 axis machining. This role would suit an experienced Production Manager, Supervisor/Team Leader or similar looking to take the next step in their career. Knowledge of CAD is also required.

The Production Manager Role

  • Establishment of new manufacturing processes
  • Manufacturing / capacity planning: working with one off and bulk orders
  • Management of lead times
  • Quality management: quality checks of parts and processes
  • Managing a team of 14 in the workshop and 2 in the drawing office
  • Using CAD to support the development of designs to be shared with customers
  • Ensuring H and S standards onsite
