About the Role
Our client, a premium womenswear brand celebrated for its strong ethos and uncompromising quality, is seeking a talented Production Manager to join their team on a maternity cover contract.
This is an exciting chance to immerse yourself in the full production lifecycle ensuring on-time delivery and ensuring the brand's standards are not compromised, working closely within a collaborative team. We are looking for someone who truly understands the end-to-end fashion production critical path and can come in and hit the ground running.
This is a great role for a Junior Production Manager who can take ownership, or for a Senior Production Co-ordinator ready to take the leap to a manager role.

Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for:
- Manage and drive the critical path and production schedules working across the multi-product categories, partnering with the PD team from sourcing through to the shipment of the bulk goods.
- Production budget and cost management.
- Drive the management of all bulk approvals, from production through to pre-shipment samples, working closely with the PD teams to ensure all details are correct and brand standards are maintained.
- Lead the AQL and inspection reports prior to shipping, providing shipment approval, or corrective action to be taken before shipping.
- Compliance and supplier onboarding management with new and existing suppliers, ensuring all certifications are transparent throughout the supply chain, meeting the brand's goals on social and ethical compliance policies.
- Manage seasonal supplier performance meetings and reports, assessing and advising points for improvements and lessons learned.

Our client is looking for someone who:
- Experience in a similar role within apparel, ideally within womenswear.
- Hands-on knowledge and experience of managing suppliers, critical path, and working with fabrics and trims and an understanding of clothing finishing techniques.
- Be a self-starter and motivated as well as excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of communication with the factories and the in-house team, with the ability to build successful relationships both internally and externally.
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong team member with a strong working ethic.
- Strong all-round IT skills including working on Excel and PLM systems.
