The Production Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Wellingborough. The Production Manager will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency
- Plan and schedule workloads
- Coordinate resources and materials
- Monitor performance against key metrics
- Lead and develop production teams
- Implement process improvements
- Work closely with engineering, quality, and design functions to support seamless project delivery
Qualifications

- Experience in production management within engineering or fabrication environments, with knowledge of stainless steel and aluminium manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated ability in planning, scheduling, and coordinating workflows, resources, and materials in a busy production setting
- Strong leadership skills, including team supervision, performance management, coaching, and fostering a collaborative, safety-focused culture
- Manage multiple priorities
- Previous experience in a similar Production Manager or supervisory role; relevant with good metal fabrication background in engineering or manufacturing are advantageous
- Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to be fully on-site in Wellingborough
