Production Manager

📍 Mid-Kent | 💷 £43,000 - £48,000 + 5% Bonus

Are you a strong people leader looking for an opportunity to shape culture, build leadership capability and drive performance within a growing FMCG manufacturing business?

Adecco is recruiting for a Production Manager to lead a team of Shift Leaders and production staff within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a highly visible leadership role focused on developing people, improving accountability and supporting ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop Shift Leaders and production teams
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Drive operational performance, productivity and KPI achievement
  • Ensure compliance with BRC, food safety and health & safety standards
  • Support production planning and customer order fulfilment
  • Work closely with Operations, Technical and Supply Chain teams
  • Contribute to business improvement projects, including ERP implementation
  • Develop talent and succession plans to strengthen future leadership capability

About You

  • Proven leadership experience within food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing
  • Strong people management and coaching skills
  • Experience leading teams across shift-based operations
  • Passion for developing others and raising performance standards
  • Knowledge of BRC, quality and compliance requirements
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a hands-on leadership approach
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities
