The Role

ERDEM is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead and take ownership of end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring product is delivered on time, and to a consistently high standard.

The role will oversee the full production lifecycle, from range plan through to final delivery, building strong supplier relationships. Working closely with Development, Design, Technical, Logistics, and Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring alignment across teams and delivering against business strategic priorities.

This role requires a proactive and problem-solving approach and keen eye for luxury details. The candidate will need to have strong analytical skills for reporting to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Management

  • Lead supplier performance and relationships, ensuring a stable, cost-effective, and future-proof supply base.
  • Work with the development team in conducting seasonal supplier reviews, flagging risks such as tariffs, capacity constraints, or capability gaps.
  • Maintain supplier scorecards and perform risk analysis.
  • Run supplier meetings covering planning, risk management, and status updates.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships through regular onsite engagement.
  • Adapt supply chain strategy in response to key style or collection changes.

Delivery

  • Accountability for production progress, ensuring on-time delivery and strong cross-functional alignment.
  • Own critical path plans and track supplier performance against on-time delivery targets.
  • Ensuring material booking and key deadline approvals correlates with the critical path.
  • Review production capacity, lead times, minimums, and potential risks, escalating issues and proposing solutions where required.
  • Lead weekly QC and production tracker meetings, driving actions and follow-ups.
  • Create and maintain accurate production dockets and trackers, including ex-factory dates and delivery status.
  • Attend fittings and manage the sealing process to ensure readiness for production.
  • Work closely with logistics in shipment plans across suppliers.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Sales on delivery phasing and any delivery impacts.

Costing & Finance

  • Drive cost efficiency and financial accuracy across the production lifecycle.
  • Own production costing ensuring from SMS handover correct costs are negotiated and confirmed for accurate financial margin rolls.
  • Track supplier payments, chase invoices.
  • Understanding held inventory for future usage and optimize consumption to minimize stock risk.

Experience & Skills

The candidate must be able to have a commercially minded outlook but key eye for luxury products. Proactive production professional, confident taking ownership of supply chain operations and driving results in a fast-paced environment, with:

  • Previous experience in production management within the fashion, apparel, accessories, or luxury goods industry.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, fit, testing, labelling, and production processes.
  • Confident using systems such as NetSuite, Zedonk, and production tracking tools.
  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage and interpret data to support decision making.
  • Experienced in managing supplier relationships, including performance tracking and risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of ESG frameworks and sustainability initiatives (preferred).
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally with Development, Design, Technical, and Finance.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or developing more junior team members.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to take ownership and drive improvements.
