Production Manager
The Production Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across Production, Warehouse and Dispatch operations, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable delivery of production and business targets. As a key member of the Site Leadership Team and deputy to the Plant Manager, the role will drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, workforce capability and strong cross-functional collaboration.

What you will do with us:
- Lead Production, Warehouse and Dispatch teams to safely deliver production plans, customer requirements and operational KPIs.
- Drive a strong safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with EHS, quality, environmental and process safety standards.
- Optimise equipment, materials and resources to improve productivity, reliability, quality and cost performance.
- Lead, coach and develop teams, strengthening engagement, accountability, capability and succession planning.
- Monitor operational performance and use data, KPIs and structured problem-solving to identify and deliver improvements.
- Partner with Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure effective production, inventory and customer service.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, while supporting asset reliability, capital projects and site strategy.
- Act as deputy to the Plant Manager, providing effective site leadership and decision-making when required.
Your qualification:
- Proven leadership and management experience within a manufacturing, chemical or process manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, industrial equipment, production performance and operational excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams and manage workforce planning and performance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with experience managing KPIs, budgets and operational resources.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, quality, environmental and process safety standards, including risk assessment and Management of Change principles.
- Experience with ERP, manufacturing or performance management systems and a proven track record of delivering continuous improvement and business change.
- A management/leadership qualification, engineering qualification, COMAH knowledge or project management experience would be advantageous.
