Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Sports Europe represents WBD’s portfolio of sports brands, channels, and platforms in Europe. Your New Role...
Join WBD Sports as a Production Manager, Domestic Football, and play a key role in the planning and delivery of domestic football productions. Working across editorial, production, engineering, technical facilities providers, freelance crews and external stakeholders, you will help deliver high-quality live broadcasts safely, efficiently and within budget. Your Role Accountabilities...
- Oversee the operational planning and delivery of domestic football match rounds, coordinating multiple fixtures, locations and production requirements.
- Coordinate technical facility requirements, providing clear briefs, schedules and updates to support efficient delivery across each match week.
- Oversee freelance crewing plans, ensuring resources are allocated effectively against location, editorial ambition, technical specification and budget.
- Partner with editorial teams to understand production requirements and deliver creative ambitions in a practical and cost-effective way.
- Own production budget tracking, forecasting and reconciliation, maintaining visibility of costs and accountability throughout delivery.
- Ensure production protocols, risk assessments, health and safety requirements and approval processes are in place and followed.
- Build strong relationships across freelance crews, vendors, clubs, federations, venues and other stakeholders while maintaining proactive communication and supporting Production Coordinators and Assistants where required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience delivering large-scale live broadcast productions within sport or multi-fixture environments.
- Strong budget management capability, including forecasting, tracking, reconciliation and cost control.
- Good understanding of broadcast facilities, production workflows and technical delivery requirements.
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to take ownership and resolve challenges effectively.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately, work with key stakeholders and travel as production requirements dictate.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
