MCS Group is excited to recruit for an experienced Production Manager.

Our client, an award-winning, cutting-edge provider of technology-driven solutions, is experiencing rapid growth and continuous investment. With projects expanding rapidly across global markets, they’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead the charge at their Limavady facility.

This is not just a job; it’s a rare opportunity to step into a thriving organisation at a pivotal moment.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will provide leadership across a production team of approximately 120 people, working through a team of Team Leaders to drive a high-performing manufacturing operation.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong shopfloor presence, excellent people management skills and experience in delivering against safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity targets.

The successful candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager or similar senior production leadership role managing large production teams.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity management, labour allocation and shopfloor performance.
  • Experience within an engineering, electrical, mechanical, fabrication, assembly or similar manufacturing environment.
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing health & safety and quality standards.
  • Experience using production KPIs, ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office to drive performance.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
