About the Company
We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations across two production sites. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the manufacture of bulk materials and finished goods, ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of production planning and scheduling, purchasing, stores and inventory management, engineering and maintenance, and operational personnel. You will ensure that all materials, resources, and processes are in place to meet customer demand while driving continuous improvement throughout the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage manufacturing operations across two sites.
- Develop and deliver production schedules to meet customer requirements.
- Ensure all raw materials and components are available to support production plans.
- Manage purchasing, supplier relationships, and inventory control.
- Oversee engineering and maintenance activities to maximize plant performance.
- Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, develop, and motivate operational teams.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Manage operational budgets and identify opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement.
- Maintenance of two production sites, including coordinating cleaning, pressure washing, grounds maintenance, contractor services, and general facility improvements.

Qualifications
You will be a proven manufacturing or operations leader with experience managing multiple operational functions within a manufacturing environment.

Required Skills
- Significant experience in manufacturing, production, or operations management.
- Strong production planning and scheduling experience.
- Experience managing purchasing, stores, inventory, and engineering functions.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- A track record of delivering operational improvements and business results.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- A hands-on approach combined with strategic thinking.
