Production / Operations Manager-Meat Processing
My client, a successful and well-respected food manufacturer in the South East Midlands, are seeking a Production Manager (Site no2) to oversee and lead the production within a fast-paced meat processing environment.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for all operations and the execution of plans, as per customer demand, adhering to health and safety on site.
You will have excellent communication and leadership skills. As a ‘people person’, you will manage, develop, and lead your teams.

You will be KPI focused based on safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery, and people development.
Skills and Experience
- Working within a Butchery environment
- Working within an Abattoir environment
- Short Interval Control
- Familiar with yield measurement systems
- Focused on continuous improvement, CI efficiencies, and LEAN processes
- Strong communicator
- Budgetary/financial awareness
- Leadership skills, keen to develop, educate, and drive change from within
- Management of team, including supervisors and operatives

Role
- Days - Monday to Friday
- Start Time - 7am-8am
- Hours - 40-42 hpw with flexibility as needed for the business
- Salary - Dependent on experience
